STREET TREE CENSUSBeginning in 2012, volunteers from Tuscany-Canterbury will join with Roland Park residents to begin testing a new GPS-type system that will enable the registration of street trees: size, age, species, condition. Information will be stored in a City data base which will ultimately aide the City Forestry Division to determine a plan of care for street trees. For example, the data base will indicate which trees need to be replaced or pruned. |
