Storm Water Drain Project

In response to state-wide efforts to preserve the Chesapeake Bay and to prevent local flooding, the TCNA Board is launching an "adopt a storm water drain" project. Within the 90 acres of Tuscany-Canterbury, there are over 118 storm drains that ideally should be cleared of leaves, branches etc. Our goal is to have each storm drain "adopted" by an individual or family whose home is close to one or more drains so they can be monitored and cleared of debris as needed. Clearing leaves from the gutters in front of homes and apartment houses is also encouraged, especially in the fall.
