Snow Removal in Tuscany Canterbury

The Situation

The City of Baltimore has designated Charles Street, 39^th Street, West University Parkway and Linkwood Road as “primary streets.”  This means that when we have a snow storm we can expect that these roads will be cleared by City plows.  The secondary roads within Tuscany Canterbury (Tuscany Road, Stony Run Lane, Stoneyford Road, Canterbury Road, Cloverhill Road, and West Highfield Road) will not be plowed by the City.  

The Plan

In order to ensure that residents can use these roads after a storm, TCNA organized a Snow Summit in November, 2011.  With support from Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke and Joe McGraw of the Calvert School, we organized a plan for snow removal from the secondary roads.  So far, we’ve not needed to implement our new plan, but we know that one day we will have another storm that will put it to the test.  If you have questions, contact TCNA’s “Snow King,” A.J.
