Recycling
The City of Baltimore collects recycling in Tuscany-Canterbury on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month except holidays. Bottles and cans are collected on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month except holidays. Look at a detailed 2008 schedule below.
Baltimore is now Single Stream Recycling – All items collected in one container.
Recycling is an important part of our effort to build a cleaner, greener Baltimore. Now it is easier than ever with SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING. Instead of separating your bottles, cans, jars and paper, you can now place all these items in one container for collection. All recylables will be picked up on the same day. DPW has also added more varieties of plastics which we will accept. Plastic bottles and jars with 1 - 7 on the bottom, instead of just 1 - 2 , will now be collected.
Paper includes:
white/colored paper, cardboard, newspaper, magazines, folders, tab cards, books, catalogs, phone books, envelopes (remove all paper clips and rubber bands).
Bottles and cans includes:
glass bottles, tin cans, metal cans, plastic bottles and containers with 1 or 7.

October 2008- the 8th & 22nd : Leaf collection begins on the 2nd : Hazardous Materials @ Poly: 25th (9 a.m - 3 p.m.)& 26th (11 a.m. - 4 p.m.)
November 2008- the 12th & the 26th
December 2008- the 10th & 24th
